Food recall index

A machine-readable index of official food recall notices, rebuilt once a day and served as static files. It exists so the My Kitchen app can match a barcode against recall notices on the device, without ever sending what a user owns to a server.

What these files are, and are not

This is a derived dataset. Notices are filtered to those carrying a checksum-valid GTIN, reshaped, and truncated to a rolling window, so it is neither complete nor authoritative. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or supported by the DGCCRF, data.gouv.fr, Etalab, or the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. For the authoritative record of any recall, follow the links above to the issuing agency.

Files are served without warranty of any kind. Entry points are /manifest.json and the per-source index files it names.
